I am so sorry. No one should have to deal with this. It's cultural to a point; this sort of behavior doesn't seem to happen in the town where I live, with the possible exception of drunken frathouse-antics. The cultural aspect makes it even harder to combat, I think, since clearly the men in question believe it's ok to act like this because the guys around them do so too.

Thank you for writing this. Changing people's attitudes has to start somewhere.
